3-Day Honeymoon Itinerary in Goa (July 2023)

  1. Day 1: Explore the Beaches
    30 minutes (10 miles) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, visit the popular Baga Beach and enjoy the sunrise while taking a long walk or indulge in water sports activities such as parasailing, jet skiing, or banana boat ride. In the afternoon, head to Calangute Beach, located just a few minutes from Baga, for a picnic lunch with your partner and take a leisurely stroll along the shore. In the evening, visit Anjuna Beach and watch the sunset while sipping on some refreshing coconut water or beer.

  2. Day 2: Visit Historical Sites
    1 hour (22 miles) from Baga Beach

    Start your day with a visit to the famous Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and admire its baroque architecture. In the afternoon, head to Fort Aguada and take a guided tour of the 17th-century Portuguese fort and lighthouse which offers stunning views of the Arabian Sea. In the evening, visit the Chapora Fort, famous for its role in the Bollywood movie "Dil Chahta Hai".

  3. Day 3: Island Hopping
    1 hour 30 minutes (31 miles) from Chapora Fort

    Take a ferry ride to the beautiful and serene Divar Island in the morning. Rent a bike and explore the island's lush greenery, picturesque villages, and churches. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Chorao Island, home to the Dr Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, a bird watcher's paradise. In the evening, head back to Panaji and enjoy a romantic dinner with your partner at one of the many restaurants on the Mandovi Riverfront.

Recommendations

Consider visiting the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, the Tambdi Surla Temple, or taking a Spice Plantation Tour. You may also take a side trip to Gokarna or Hampi, located within a few hours' drive from Goa.
