Mumbai 5-Day Itinerary for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Gateway of India
    10 minutes (2.5 km) from Colaba Causeway

    In the morning, visit the iconic Gateway of India and take a ferry to Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Spend the afternoon exploring the vibrant markets of Colaba Causeway, where you can find everything from handicrafts to street food. Recommendations

If you have more time, consider visiting the Chor Bazaar, a famous flea market, or taking a walking tour of the Dharavi slum. For side trips, you can visit the hill stations of Lonavala and Khandala or the Elephanta Caves on the mainland. To maximize your fun, try some of Mumbai's street food, such as vada pav and pav bhaji, or take a Bollywood dance class.
