Recommendations

Make sure to acclimatize to the high altitude of Ladakh before starting your tour. You can plan a day of rest in Leh before starting your itinerary. You may want to carry warm clothing as the temperature can drop suddenly. You can also consider visiting the monasteries of Alchi and Lamayuru, or take a trek to Markha Valley. If you have more time, you can explore the Zanskar Valley or take a road trip to Srinagar through the beautiful Zojila Pass.
