  1. Day 1: Lalbagh Botanical Garden
    20 minutes (5.5 km) from Bangalore Palace

    Morning: Stroll through the garden on a cool June morning. The garden is spread over 240 acres and has over 1,000 species of plants. Be sure to visit the glasshouse, which is modeled after London's Crystal Palace.
    Afternoon: Head to MTR (Mavalli Tiffin Room) for a delicious south Indian meal. This iconic restaurant has been serving authentic south Indian food since 1924.
    Evening: Visit the Bangalore Fort, which was built by Kempe Gowda in the 16th century. The fort has a unique mix of Islamic and Hindu architecture.

  2. Day 2: Cubbon Park
    10 minutes (3.5 km) from Lalbagh Botanical Garden

    Morning: Start your day at Cubbon Park with a jog or a walk. The park has over 300 acres of greenery, with several walking paths and benches to relax.
    Afternoon: Visit the Vidhana Soudha, which is located in the heart of Bangalore. This grand building is the seat of the state legislature of Karnataka.
    Evening: Take a stroll on MG Road, which is one of the busiest streets in Bangalore. It has plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes.

Recommendations

If you have time, consider visiting the ISKCON temple, which is one of the largest Hare Krishna temples in the world. You can also take a day trip to Nandi Hills, which is a popular hill station near Bangalore. To maximize your fun, try some of the local street food, such as dosa, idli, and vada.
