Start your day by arriving in the beautiful city of Srinagar. Dal Lake is one of the most iconic places to stay in the city, comprising of about 1,000 houseboats. You can take a shikara ride around the lake and explore the floating markets. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Kashmiri Wazwan dinner on your houseboat.
After breakfast, head to Gulmarg, known as the "Meadow of Flowers". Take the Gondola ride, which is the world's second-highest cable car. It offers breathtaking panoramic views of the entire valley. Enjoy a pony ride in the meadow, have lunch at one of the local restaurants, and visit the Maharani temple. In the evening, return to your houseboat in Srinagar.
After breakfast, head to Pahalgam, which is also known as the "Valley of Shepherds". Visit the beautiful Betaab Valley, which was named after the famous Bollywood movie "Betaab" that was shot there. Enjoy a picnic lunch, explore the nearby streams and waterfalls, and take a pony ride. In the evening, check in to your hotel in Pahalgam.
After breakfast, visit the scenic Aru Valley. It is a beautiful meadow surrounded by dense forests and snow-capped peaks. Take a nature walk, have lunch at one of the local restaurants, and visit the nearby glaciers. In the evening, return to your hotel in Pahalgam.
After breakfast, head back to Srinagar. Visit the famous Mughal Gardens, which include Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. These gardens were built by the Mughal emperors in the 16th century and are known for their stunning architecture and beautiful fountains. In the evening, visit the local markets and enjoy some shopping.
Before departing, visit Dal Lake one last time and enjoy a shikara ride. You can also visit the famous Hazratbal shrine, which is located on the western shore of the lake. In the afternoon, depart for the Srinagar International Airport for your flight back home.
If you have an extra day, consider visiting the town of Sonamarg, which is known as the "Meadow of Gold". You can go trekking, visit the Thajiwas glacier, or go trout fishing in the nearby streams.
