Family-Friendly Itinerary for Ahmedabad in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Sabarmati Ashram
    15 minutes (3 miles) from Ahmedabad Airport

In the afternoon, head to the Calico Museum of Textiles, which has an extensive collection of Indian textiles and handicrafts. Finally, enjoy the evening at Kankaria Lake, where you can ride a balloon safari, visit the zoo or simply stroll around the lake.

  2. Day 2: Adalaj Stepwell
    30 minutes (10 miles) from Kankaria Lake

    Start the day with a visit to Adalaj Stepwell, a five-story well built in 1499. The intricate carvings and unique architecture make it a must-see attraction. In the afternoon, take the kids to the Splash Water Park, which has a variety of water slides and pools. End the day at the Vastrapur Lake, where you can enjoy a peaceful evening walk or picnic with your family.
