Hawa Mahal is famous for its intricate latticework and was built for the royal ladies to observe the street festivals without being seen. In the evening, head to the Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is an astronomical observatory built-in 1738 by Raja Jai Singh II. Witness the astronomical instruments that were used to measure the time, predict eclipses, and track stars.

  2. Day 2: Amber Fort
    25 minutes (11.5 km) from Jaipur City Palace

    Start your day by visiting the Amber Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fort is situated on a hill and provides a panoramic view of Jaipur. Take a guided tour of the fort and admire the Sheesh Mahal or the Palace of Mirrors, which is known for its intricate mirror work. Spend your afternoon exploring the ancient stepwell, Panna Meena Ka Kund. The stepwell is famous for its unique geometric design and perfect symmetry. In the evening, head to the Jal Mahal, a palace situated in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake. The palace is illuminated in the evening and provides a picturesque view of the lake.
