Morning: Start early to beat the heat and begin your trek up to Anjaneri Hills, a beautiful mountain range located in the Western Ghats. The 5km trek takes approximately 2-3 hours and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Afternoon: Head back down the mountain and stop by one of the local restaurants for lunch. We recommend trying the local specialty, Misal Pav, a spicy curry dish served with bread.
Evening: Visit the Trimbakeshwar Temple, located approximately 30 minutes away. The temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The beautiful architecture and serene atmosphere make for a perfect end to the day.
Morning: Start your day with a visit to the Sula Vineyards, located approximately 25 minutes from the city center. Enjoy a guided tour of the vineyards and learn about the winemaking process. End the tour with a wine-tasting session and indulge in some of the finest wines produced in India.
Afternoon: After a delicious lunch at the vineyard's restaurant, explore the Pandavleni Caves located approximately 30 minutes away. These caves are a group of 24 caves dating back to the 1st century BC and are famous for their beautiful sculptures and carvings.
Evening: End your trip with a visit to the Dudhsagar Falls, located approximately 45 minutes away. These stunning waterfalls are a sight to behold and offer a peaceful and serene atmosphere for the perfect end to your trip.
If you have more time, we recommend visiting the Ramshej Fort, located approximately 25 km from Nashik. The fort offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and countryside. You can also take a side trip to the nearby town of Igatpuri and visit the Vipassana International Academy, one of the largest meditation centers in the world.
For adventure enthusiasts, there are several trekking routes and nature trails in and around Nashik, including the Kalsubai Peak, the highest peak in Maharashtra.
