7-Day Adventure Itinerary for Kedarnath, Tungnath, and Badrinath

  1. Day 1: Kedarnath
    1 hour 25 minutes (36.2 miles) from Rudraprayag

    Starting early in the morning, trek to Kedarnath Temple for the morning darshan amidst the beautiful mountain views. Enjoy a cup of tea and breakfast at one of the quaint tea shops.   2. Day 2: Chopta, Tungnath

    After breakfast, drive to Chopta and begin the trek to Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world. The trek is a challenging one but the beautiful views throughout make it worth it. Enjoy lunch at the peak and descend back to Chopta. Spend the evening stargazing and camping in Chopta.

  3. Day 3: Deoria Tal Lake
    1 hour 6 minutes (26 miles) from Chopta

    Start the day early and drive to Sari Village. Trek to Deoria Tal Lake and enjoy the panoramic views of the mountains. Spend the afternoon at leisure, relaxing by the lake. Return to Chopta in the evening and rest.

  4. Day 4: Badrinath
    4 hours 36 minutes (149 miles) from Chopta

    Drive to Badrinath and visit the Badrinath Temple for the morning darshan. Visit the Mana village, the last village before the India-China border, and witness the natural wonders like Saraswati River, Ganesh Gufa, and Vyas Gufa. In the evening, attend the evening aarti at Badrinath Temple.

  5. Day 5: Valley of Flowers

    Start early in the morning and trek to Hemkund Sahib, a Sikh shrine located at an altitude of 4,632 meters. The trek is challenging but the beautiful views throughout make it worth it. Spend the afternoon at the Gurudwara and return to Govindghat for the evening.

  7. Day 7: Auli
    2 hours 22 minutes (53.4 miles) from Govindghat

    Drive to Auli and enjoy the thrilling adventure sports like skiing and snowboarding. Take the cable car ride to the top and enjoy the panoramic views of the mountains. Spend the evening at leisure in Auli and return to Govindghat for the night.
