Nature Lovers 7-Day Itinerary for Haridwar, Rishikesh, Sonprayag, Kedarnath, Badrinath

  1. Day 1: Haridwar
    20 minutes (12.5 km) from Jolly Grant Airport

    Start your day with a visit to Har ki Pauri, the most famous ghat in Haridwar and witness the morning Ganga Aarti. Then, head to Mansa Devi Temple by taking the ropeway and enjoy the panoramic views of the holy city. In the afternoon, visit Chandi Devi Temple and enjoy the scenic beauty of the place. End your day by attending the evening Ganga Aarti at Har ki Pauri.

  2. Day 2: Rishikesh
    1 hour 30 minutes (35.5 km) from Haridwar

    Start your day by visiting Lakshman Jhula, an iconic suspension bridge over the Ganges river. Afterward, visit Ram Jhula, Trimbakeshwar Temple, and Swarg Ashram. In the afternoon, head to Neer Garh waterfalls and enjoy the scenic beauty of the place. End your day with Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan.

  3. Day 3: Sonprayag
    5 hours 30 minutes (182 km) from Rishikesh

    Drive to Sonprayag, which is the gateway to Kedarnath. En-route, visit Devprayag, the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers. In the evening, visit Triyuginarayan temple, where Lord Shiva and Parvati got married.

  4. Day 4: Kedarnath

    Start early in the morning and trek to Kedarnath temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Witness the morning pooja and enjoy the scenic beauty of the place. In the afternoon, explore the nearby areas and visit Bhairavnath temple, Gandhi Sarovar, and Vasuki Tal.

  5. Day 5: Badrinath
    7 hours 30 minutes (240 km) from Kedarnath

    Drive to Badrinath, which is one of the four Char Dham pilgrimage sites in India. En-route, visit Joshimath and Pandukeshwar. In the evening, visit Badrinath temple and take a dip in Tapt Kund, a natural hot spring.

  6. Day 6: Badrinath
    Explore the nearby areas of Badrinath

    In the morning, visit Mana Village, the last Indian village before the Indo-China border. Then, explore the scenic beauty of Vasudhara Falls, Satopanth Lake, and Charanpaduka.

  7. Day 7: Departure

    Drive back to Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun for your departure flight.
