7-Day Itinerary for Kedarnath, Badrinath, Haridwar, Delhi in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Haridwar
    2.5 hours (110 km) from Dehradun Airport

    Start your day with a visit to Har Ki Pauri, one of the most sacred ghats in India. Take a dip in the holy Ganges and attend the Ganga Aarti in the evening. You can also visit the Mansa Devi Temple and the Chandi Devi Temple.

  2. Day 2: Kedarnath
    9 hours (230 km) from Haridwar

    Drive to Sonprayag and then take a helicopter or trek to the Kedarnath Temple, located at an altitude of 3,583 meters. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Spend the day exploring the temple and the surrounding natural beauty.

  3. Day 3: Badrinath
    7.5 hours (220 km) from Kedarnath

    Visit the Badrinath Temple, one of the Chota Char Dham pilgrimage sites. Take a dip in the Tapt Kund, a natural hot water spring, and explore the Mana Village, the last village on the Indian side of the Indo-China border. You can also visit the Neelkanth Peak and the Vasudhara Falls.

  4. Day 4: Delhi
    10 hours (310 km) from Badrinath

    Drive to Delhi, the capital of India. Visit the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid, and the Lotus Temple. You can also explore the Chandni Chowk market and indulge in some street food.

  5. Day 5: Delhi

    Visit the India Gate, the Humayun's Tomb, and the Qutub Minar. You can also explore the Raj Ghat, the Gandhi Smriti, and the National Museum. In the evening, watch a light and sound show at the Red Fort.

  6. Day 6: Delhi

    Visit the Akshardham Temple, one of the largest Hindu temples in the world. Explore the temple's architecture and exhibits, including the boat ride and the musical fountain show. You can also visit the Indira Gandhi Memorial Museum and the Hauz Khas Village.

    Visit the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India. Explore the Mughal Gardens and the Parliament House. You can also go shopping at the Connaught Place and the Dilli Haat.
