Spend the day exploring the sights and sounds of Tulum, a small bohemian town on the Caribbean coast. Start with a visit to Tulum Archaeological Site, followed by a swim at Tulum Beach. After that, head back north to Playa del Carmen for its luxury shopping and party scene.
Take a relaxing boat tour of the Xochimilco canals and witness the colourful boats known as "trajineras". After that, visit the charming neighbourhood of Coyoacan where you can taste local delicacies from different food markets, visit the Frida Kahlo Museum and Casa Azul, and then head back to the airport.
Transportation between the destinations will be done using a luxury private car service with an approximate cost of $1,500 for the whole trip. Travel time between destinations has already been added to the itinerary.
If you have more time, it is highly recommended to visit the Cenotes in Tulum or add a beach day in Playa del Carmen. Also, consider extending your trip to visit other cities like Guadalajara or Oaxaca. If you have less time, it is possible to remove the visit to Xochimilco and Coyoacan on Day 5.
Mexico City has one main international airport - Benito Juarez International Airport (MEX). It is located 3km east of the city center and serves as a hub for Aeromexico and Interjet airlines.
