2-Day Family Friendly Itinerary for Delhi in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Qutub Minar
    35 minutes (10.1 km) from Indira Gandhi International Airport

    In the morning, visit the Qutub Minar, the tallest minaret in India. Explore the surrounding archaeological area, which includes several other ancient and medieval structures. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Mehrauli Archaeological Park, which has over 100 historically significant monuments. In the evening, enjoy a light and sound show at the Qutub Minar.

  2. Day 2: Humayun's Tomb
    11 minutes (4.9 km) from India Gate

    In the morning, visit Humayun's Tomb, a stunning garden tomb and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a stroll in the surrounding gardens, which were designed in the Persian style. In the afternoon, head to the Red Fort, a 17th-century fortress and UNESCO World Heritage Site that served as the residence of the Mughal emperors. In the evening, explore the bustling market at Chandni Chowk and try some of the delicious street food.

Other family-friendly attractions in Delhi include the National Museum, the National Zoological Park, and the Delhi Eye Ferris wheel. If you have time, consider taking a day trip to Agra to see the magnificent Taj Mahal.
