3-Day Itinerary for Exploring Goa

  1. Day 1: Visit Old Goa
    30 minutes (12.7 km) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, explore the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral. Then, head to the Museum of Christian Art for a glimpse into the history of Christianity in Goa. Afternoon is perfect for a leisurely walk around Fontainhas, the Latin Quarter of Panaji, to admire the colorful Portuguese-style houses. Have a traditional Goan lunch at Viva Panjim. In the evening, visit the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception and enjoy the stunning view of Panaji from the hilltop.

  2. Day 2: Relax on the Beaches
    20 minutes (8.6 km) from Panaji

    Spend the morning at Anjuna Beach, known for its vibrant flea market and water sports activities. Afternoon can be spent on the pristine Vagator Beach, famous for its red cliffs and idyllic sunset view. Have lunch at one of the beach shacks serving fresh seafood. In the evening, head to Calangute Beach, the "Queen of Beaches" in Goa, for some lively nightlife and entertainment options.

  3. Day 3: Visit the Spice Plantations
    1 hour 10 minutes (50.6 km) from Calangute Beach

    Start the day early and drive to the Sahakari Spice Farm for a guided tour of the spice plantations and indulge in a delicious spice-infused lunch. Post-lunch, visit the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, one of the highest waterfalls in India, and take a refreshing dip in the natural pool. Return back to Goa and head to the Tito's Lane in Baga for some groovy music and drinks to end your trip on a high note.

If you have an extra day in Goa, take a day trip to the quaint village of Divar Island, a 15-minute ferry ride from Panaji. You can also explore the Reis Magos Fort, located 7 km from Panaji, and enjoy a panoramic view of the Mandovi River.
