  • Day 1: El Penol Boulder

Climb the stairs to the top of the boulder for a breathtaking view that will make for a great family photo. There's a souvenir shop and coffee shop nearby as well.

  • Day 2: Boat tour and La Manuela farm
    15 minutes (6.6 miles) from Guatape town center to Marina de Guatape

    Take a morning boat tour around Lake Guatape to witness the beauty of the surrounding nature. Some tour companies offer stops for water sports like kayaking and paddleboarding. In the afternoon, visit La Manuela, a scenic farm featuring exotic animals such as peacocks, bunnies, and guinea pigs, and also showing the local life.

  • Day 3: Piedra del Marial and Parque Comfama
    30 minutes (14.3 miles) from Guatape town center to Piedra del Marial

    Take a panoramic hike and explore the natural settings of Piedra del Marial. This nature reserve is a prime spot for nature enthusiasts and provides a great backdrop for family photos. Next, take a 13-minute drive to Parque Comfama to have a picnic and test your endurance with a variety of activity options from kayaking to zip lines.
