Three-Day Itinerary for Jaipur in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Amer Fort
    25 minutes (8.8 km) from Jaipur City Centre

    In the morning, visit the Amer Fort, a historical and architectural masterpiece. Take an elephant ride to the fort's entrance and explore the stunning palaces, gardens, and courtyards. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Panna Meena ka Kund, a beautifully symmetrical stepwell. In the evening, visit the Jal Mahal, a picturesque palace located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake.

  2. Day 2: Hawa Mahal and City Palace

    In the morning, visit the Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds. This stunning pink sandstone palace has over 950 windows and was built to allow royal women to observe street festivals without being seen. In the afternoon, visit the City Palace, a beautiful complex of courtyards, gardens, and buildings. Don't miss the Mubarak Mahal, which houses a collection of royal costumes and textiles. In the evening, explore the nearby Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observation site built in the early 18th century.

  3. Day 3: Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh Fort

    In the morning, visit the Jaigarh Fort, a massive fortification that protected the Amer Fort and its water supply. Don't miss the world's largest cannon on wheels, Jaivana.
