Relaxing 4-Day Itinerary from Ajmet to Trimbakeshwar in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Ellora Caves
    20 minutes (10 miles) from Ajmet

    In the morning, explore the Ellora Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with 34 monasteries and temples carved out of a basalt cliff.   2. Day 2: Shirdi
    2 hours (85 miles) from Ellora Caves

  4. Day 4: Trimbakeshwar
    30 minutes (18 miles) from Nashik

    In the morning, visit the Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple, another of the 12 sacred Jyotirlinga shrines. In the afternoon, take a scenic drive along the Gangapur Dam and enjoy some breathtaking views. In the evening, head to the nearby Anjaneri Hills for a short hike and to watch the sunset over Nashik.

Recommendations

Consider visiting the Ajanta Caves and the Panchvati Temple in Nashik if time permits. You can also take a side trip to the beautiful hill stations of Bhandardara and Saputara.
