2-Day Ladakh Itinerary in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Pangong Tso Lake
    2 hours 30 minutes (80.3 km) from Leh

    In the morning, head to the magnificent Pangong Tso Lake, situated at an elevation of 4,350m. Be mesmerized by the breathtaking views of the lake, which changes colors throughout the day. You can opt for a short walk around the lake and capture pictures with the stunning backdrop. In the afternoon, visit the Spangmik Village located near the lake and interact with the locals to learn about their culture and lifestyle. At night, relax and enjoy camping amidst the serene environment.

  2. Day 2: Nubra Valley
    4 hours 30 minutes (120 km) from Leh

    Start your day with a visit to Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest monastery in the Nubra Valley. You can witness the giant statue of Maitreya Buddha and view the beautiful valley from the hilltop. Later, head towards the white sand dunes of Hunder and ride the famous double-humped Bactrian camel. In the evening, visit the Yarab Tso Lake and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings.
