Family-Friendly Itinerary for Mahabaleshwar in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Elephant's Head Point
    10 minutes (3.5 km) from Mahabaleshwar Bus Station

    Start your day with a visit to the Elephant's Head Point, also known as Needle Point. This popular viewpoint offers a stunning panoramic view of the Sahyadri Range, and is especially beautiful during sunrise. Take a leisurely stroll along the cliff-side trail, and don't forget to take plenty of pictures. For lunch, head to one of the nearby restaurants and try some local food. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Lingmala Waterfall, where you can take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear water. As evening approaches, visit the Venna Lake for a relaxing boat ride and a beautiful sunset view.

  2. Day 2: Mapro Garden
    15 minutes (5 km) from Mahabaleshwar Bus Station

    Spend your morning at Mapro Garden, a popular strawberry farm and food park. Take a stroll through the beautiful gardens, and try some of the delicious strawberry-based treats, such as chocolate-dipped strawberries and strawberry milkshake. In the afternoon, visit the Mahabaleshwar Temple, one of the oldest and most revered temples in the area. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is a popular pilgrimage site. In the evening, head to the Wilson Point for a beautiful sunset view. This is the highest point in Mahabaleshwar and offers a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding hills and valleys.
