Start the day with a visit to the Ujjain Mahakaleshwar Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines in India and a famous pilgrimage site. The temple opens at 4:00 AM so you can witness the Bhasma Aarti, a unique ritual where Lord Shiva is worshipped with sacred ash. After breakfast, head to Kaliadeh Palace, located on the banks of the Shipra river, for a scenic boat ride. In the evening, visit the Sandipani Ashram for a sound and light show that depicts the life of Lord Krishna.

Afterward, head to the Bhartrihari Caves, situated on the banks of the river, which are believed to be the meditation spot of the great philosopher Bhartrihari. In the evening, head to the Vedh Shala (observatory) which houses several astronomical instruments used to predict eclipses and other celestial events.
Begin the day by visiting the Mangalnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and located at the confluence of the Shipra and Narmada rivers. Afterward, head to the Harsiddhi Temple, which is believed to be one of the 51 Shakti Peethas and is dedicated to the Goddess Annapurna. In the evening, visit the Kshipra River Ghats to witness the Ganga Aarti, a beautiful and spiritual ceremony where devotees light lamps and offer prayers to the river.
If you have more time, you can also visit the Chintaman Ganesh Temple, Gadkalika Temple, or the Jantar Mantar observatory. You can also take a day trip to the nearby city of Indore and visit the Rajwada Palace, Lalbagh Palace, and the Khajrana Ganesh Temple.
