4-Day Relaxation Itinerary for Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Palolem Beach
1 hour 15 minutes (34.2 miles) from Goa International Airport

Palolem Beach is a perfect place to start your vacation. Wake up early to catch the sunrise and enjoy a peaceful stroll along the beach. The calm waters of the Arabian Sea are perfect for swimming and sunbathing, while the nearby shops and restaurants offer plenty of opportunities for refreshments. You can also take a boat trip to Butterfly Island for snorkeling and exploring the secluded coves. In the evening, relax with a cold beer and watch the sunset.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
2 hours 30 minutes (56.6 miles) from Palolem Beach

Start your day early and head inland to the Dudhsagar Falls. The four-tiered waterfall plunges 1017 feet into a pool of milky white water, surrounded by lush green forests. You can swim in the pool or hike to the top of the falls for a breathtaking view. The trek is about 11 km long and takes around 2 hours, but the scenery is worth it. Afterward, enjoy a picnic lunch and head back to your hotel for a relaxing evening by the pool.

  3. Day 3: Fort Aguada and Candolim Beach
1 hour 15 minutes (16.3 miles) from Dudhsagar Falls

Explore the historical side of Goa today by visiting Fort Aguada, a 17th-century Portuguese fort overlooking the Arabian Sea. The fort was built to protect against Dutch and Maratha invasions and still stands tall today. Afterward, head to Candolim Beach, known for its soft sand and calm waters. You can rent a beach chair and umbrella or take a dip in the sea. In the evening, head to one of the beachside shacks for some fresh seafood and live music.

  4. Day 4: Anjuna Beach and Market
1 hour 5 minutes (19.3 miles) from Candolim Beach

End your trip with a visit to Anjuna Beach and Market. The beach is famous for its Wednesday flea market, where you can find everything from souvenirs to spices. Spend the morning shopping and exploring the market before heading to the beach for some sun and relaxation. The beach is also known for its beautiful red cliffs and rock formations. In the evening, head to one of the nearby restaurants for a farewell dinner.
