Two-Day Itinerary for Relaxation in Digha in July 2023

  1. Day 1: New Digha Beach
    5 minutes (0.5 miles) from Digha Bus Stand

    Start your day by taking a walk on the beautiful sandy beach and enjoy the early morning breeze. You can also take a dip in the sea if you wish. There are many food stalls selling delicious breakfast options like hot samosas and jalebis, which you can enjoy. Spend your afternoon exploring the nearby markets and trying local cuisine at restaurants like Swastik and Kakan.

    In the evening, take a stroll on the beach and watch the sunset. You can also try some local street food like phuchkas and egg rolls. Don't forget to try the famous Digha fish curry, a must-try delicacy in the region.

  2. Day 2: Amarabati Park and Science Centre
    20 minutes (1.8 miles) from New Digha Beach

    Start your day by visiting the Amarabati Park. It is a beautiful park with a lake where you can go boating. You can also take a walk in the park and enjoy the greenery. After spending the morning at the park, head to the Science Centre. It is an interactive museum with many exhibits and activities related to science and technology. You can spend hours exploring and learning new things here.

    In the afternoon, head to the nearby restaurants like Adhikari or Kamala to try some delicious seafood dishes. You can also visit the nearby markets to buy souvenirs and handicrafts.

    In the evening, head back to New Digha Beach to enjoy the sunset and have dinner at restaurants like Blue View or Zaika.
