6-Day Shoestring Budget Itinerary for Manali in December 2023

  1. Day 1: Visit Hadimba Temple
    15 minutes (3.5 km) from Manali Bus Stand

    In the morning, visit the Hadimba Temple, a wooden temple located in the middle of Van Vihar Park. This is a peaceful and beautiful place surrounded by cedar trees and snow-capped mountains. Afternoon can be spent exploring the park, boating in the lake, and taking a walk in the woods. In the evening, go shopping at the Mall Road market.

  2. Day 2: Solang Valley and Skiing
    45 minutes (13 km) from Manali Bus Stand

    In the morning, head to Solang Valley for winter sports and adventure activities such as skiing, snowboarding, and paragliding. You can also take a cable car ride to reach the top of the valley for an amazing view. Afternoon can be spent at a nearby cafe enjoying the view and sipping hot beverages. In the evening, return to Manali and take a walk on the old Manali bridge.

  3. Day 3: Manu Temple and Jogini Waterfall
