Other local attractions you may want to consider visiting include Calangute Beach, Baga Beach, and the Basilica of Bom Jesus. For a side trip, you can visit the beautiful Dudhsagar spice plantations or take a day trip to the nearby state of Karnataka to see the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hampi. To maximize your fun, try water sports such as parasailing, jet skiing, and banana boat rides, all of which are available at most beaches in Goa. Finally, don't forget to try the local cuisine, especially seafood, and to sample the feni, a local alcoholic drink made from cashew nuts or coconuts.
