4-Day Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Baga Beach
    50 minutes (12.5 km) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, head to Baga Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Goa. Take a dip in the sea, sunbathe or indulge in some water sports. In the afternoon, explore the vibrant flea market which offers a range of items such as clothes, jewelry, and souvenirs. In the evening, enjoy a delicious seafood dinner at one of the many shacks on the beach while watching the sunset.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls

    Make an early start to visit the majestic Dudhsagar Falls. The falls are at their best during the monsoon season, so June is the perfect time to visit. Take a dip in the cool waters of the falls and enjoy a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, head back to Goa and visit the historic Aguada Fort. In the evening, explore the charming Latin Quarter of Fontainhas and indulge in some delicious Goan cuisine.

  3. Day 3: Anjuna Flea Market and Chapora Fort
    30 minutes (9 km) from Baga Beach

    In the morning, visit the famous Anjuna Flea Market, which is a mecca for shopaholics. The market is open every Wednesday and offers a wide range of items such as clothes, jewelry, and handicrafts. In the afternoon, head to the iconic Chapora Fort and enjoy panoramic views of the Arabian Sea. In the evening, take a stroll along the Baga Beach promenade and enjoy some live music.

  4. Day 4: Spice Plantation and Calangute Beach
    1 hour (20 km) from Baga Beach

    Start your day with a visit to a spice plantation where you can learn about the different spices and herbs used in Goan cuisine. After the tour, enjoy a traditional Goan thali for lunch. In the afternoon, head to Calangute Beach, one of the largest and most popular beaches in Goa. Take a dip in the sea, sunbathe or indulge in some water sports. In the evening, enjoy a sunset cruise on the Mandovi River.

Recommendations

If you have some extra time, consider visiting the beautiful Morjim Beach, the historic Reis Magos Fort or the serene Shanta Durga Temple. You can also take a day trip to the magnificent Bom Jesus Basilica and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Old Goa. For adventure enthusiasts, there are plenty of opportunities for trekking, kayaking and zip-lining.
