Recommendations

If you have extra days, consider visiting Haridwar, a holy city just 20 miles from Rishikesh, or Agra, home to the iconic Taj Mahal. For a more adventurous experience, try bungee jumping or zip-lining in Rishikesh. To maximize your fun, hire a local guide who can show you hidden gems and take you off the beaten path. Don't forget to try the local street food, but make sure to ask for recommendations from your guide or hotel staff. Finally, be sure to pack comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, and insect repellent for your trip.
