3-Day Itinerary: Delhi to Jibhi

  1. Day 1: Delhi to Mandi to Jibhi
    8 hours (272 km) from Delhi

    In the morning, head to Mandi, known as the "Kashi of Himachal Pradesh" and visit the Bhimakali Temple and the 17th-century Shiva temple, Triloknath. Drive to Jibhi, a serene hamlet surrounded by mountains and dense forests. In the afternoon, visit the Jibhi Waterfall and take a dip in the refreshing water. In the evening, enjoy a bonfire under the starry sky.

  2. Day 2: Jalori Pass and Serolsar Lake Trek
    1 hour (8.7 km) from Jibhi

    Early morning, hike to the Jalori Pass, a beautiful drive-away mountain pass that connects the Kullu and Shimla districts. Visit the famous Kali Temple and enjoy the stunning view of the Himalayas from the top. After descending, trek to the Serolsar Lake, a peaceful and serene lake surrounded by thick forest. In the evening, enjoy a hot cup of tea and local delicacies at one of the cafes in Jibhi.

  3. Day 3: Chaini Fort and Chehni Kothi
    1 hour 30 minutes (28 km) from Jibhi

    Visit the Chaini Fort, a unique fort made out of stone and wood with intricate carvings. Take a guided tour of the fort and learn about its rich history. Afterward, visit the Chehni Kothi, a 1500 years old fort-like structure that served as a watchtower in the olden times. In the evening, head back to Delhi.

If you have an extra day, you can go to the Great Himalayan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to various rare species of flora and fauna. You can also take a day trip to Tirthan Valley, a picturesque destination known for its trout fishing and adventure activities like trekking and camping. Don't forget to try local Himachali delicacies like Siddu, Dham, and Chha Gosht.
