Jammu Nature Itinerary in December 2023

  1. Day 1: Visit Mansar Lake
    30 minutes (20 km) from Jammu City Center

    In the morning, visit Mansar Lake, a beautiful lake surrounded by lush green forests and hills. Take a walk around the lake and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Afternoon, visit the Mansar Wildlife Sanctuary nearby and spot animals such as wild boars, barking deer, and langurs. Spend your evening at the lake, watching the sunset and enjoying local street food.

  2. Day 2: Explore Patnitop
    2 hours (50 km) from Mansar Lake

    Start your day early and head to Patnitop, a picturesque hill station known for its natural beauty. Take a nature walk in the Pine forests, visit the Nag Temple, and enjoy the panoramic view of the Pir Panjal mountain range. In the afternoon, go skiing or snowboarding in Nathatop and enjoy the beautiful views of the snow-capped mountains. In the evening, watch the sunset at Sanasar Lake while sipping on local chai.

  3. Day 3: Visit Dera Baba Banda Bahadur
    1 hour 40 minutes (70 km) from Patnitop

    Head to Dera Baba Banda Bahadur, a sacred Gurudwara located on a hilltop with breathtaking views of the Chenab River. Recommendations

If you have more time, you can visit the Mubarak Mandi Palace and the Bahu Fort in Jammu city.
