Recommendations

If you have more time, consider visiting the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, the Nizami Museum of Azerbaijani Literature, and the Upland Park. You can also take a day trip to the historic city of Sheki and visit the Sheki Khan's Palace. To maximize your fun, book a hot air balloon ride over the Absheron Peninsula or take a helicopter tour of Baku. Make sure to try the local cuisine, including dolma, plov, and shashlik. Don't forget to buy some souvenirs, such as Azerbaijani carpets, tea sets, and local sweets.
