Recommendations

If you have extra time in Goa, you can also consider visiting the following places: Fort Aguada, Chapora Fort, Ashwem Beach, and the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. A side trip to the neighboring state of Maharashtra to see the Ajanta and Ellora Caves is also highly recommended. To maximize your fun, try renting a scooter or a motorbike to explore the state's scenic routes and hidden gems. Lastly, don't forget to indulge in some authentic Goan cuisine, such as fish curry, vindaloo, and bebinca.
