Transportation within Mordor is usually done on foot. Visitors are advised to wear comfortable, sturdy footwear and to pack a sufficient amount of food and water. Car rentals are not available in Mordor. Taxis and other private transportation services are also not an option in the region.
If you have more time, you can visit other places in Mordor, such as Minas Morgul, the Tower of Cirith Ungol, and the Paths of the Dead. If you have less time, you can prioritize the activities that you most want to experience. It is recommended to visit Mordor during the dry season, from June to August, to avoid the heavy rains and extreme heat of the summer.
