5-Day Relaxation Itinerary in Goa, June 2023

  1. Day 1: Palolem Beach
    60 minutes (35 miles) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, take a dip in the calm blue waters of Palolem Beach. With its white sand and lush greenery, this beach is a perfect place to relax and get sun-kissed. For lunch, try some local seafood delicacies at nearby shacks. In the afternoon, rent a kayak and explore the nearby islands. In the evening, enjoy a bonfire on the beach with some live music.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    90 minutes (46 miles) from Palolem Beach

    Start early to reach Dudhsagar Waterfalls, one of the most impressive waterfalls in India. Spend the morning trekking and exploring the area around the falls. Enjoy a picnic lunch before heading to the spice plantations nearby. Take a tour of the plantation and learn about the cultivation and processing of different spices. In the evening, head back to Palolem Beach for some relaxation.

  3. Day 3: Fort Aguada and Sinquerim Beach

Aside from the itinerary, there are many other things to explore in Goa such as the Basilica of Bom Jesus, the beaches of Morjim and Mandrem, and the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. To maximize your experience, consider trying a yoga or meditation class, renting a scooter to explore the area, and taking a spice-making class. For a side trip, take a ferry to the nearby islands of Grand Island or Divar Island. Don't forget to try the local cuisine, including vindaloo, xacuti, and bebinca.
