4-Day Foodie Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Panaji
    40 minutes (18.5 km) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, visit the popular Cafe Bhonsle for some authentic Goan breakfast. After that, head to the Latin Quarter of Fontainhas to explore the colorful old buildings and houses. For lunch, try out the seafood at Ritz Classic Restaurant, located near the Mandovi River. Spend the afternoon at the Museum of Goa, where you can admire contemporary art. In the evening, head to the vibrant Market of Altinho and enjoy some street food and live music.

  2. Day 2: Mapusa
    30 minutes (15 km) from Panaji

    Start your day with some delicious misal pav at Cafe Tato in Mapusa. After breakfast, visit the vibrant Mapusa Market to shop for some local produce and spices. For lunch, head to Gunpowder Restaurant, which serves traditional Indian cuisine. In the afternoon, visit the famous Fort Aguada, where you can explore the lighthouse and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. In the evening, head back to Mapusa to enjoy some street food and drinks at the night market.

  3. Day 3: Margao
    40 minutes (25 km) from Mapusa

  4. Day 4: Anjuna
    40 minutes (20 km) from Margao

    Start your day with some breakfast at Artjuna Garden Cafe in Anjuna. After breakfast, visit the famous Anjuna Flea Market, which is known for its colorful stalls and live music. For lunch, head to the famous German Bakery, which serves some of the best bread and cakes in Goa. In the afternoon, visit the Chapora Fort, which is a famous shooting location for Bollywood movies. In the evening, enjoy some drinks and live music at the Curlies Beach Shack.

If you have time, visit the famous Dudhsagar Waterfalls, which is a four-tiered waterfall located on the Mandovi River. You can also take a day trip to the famous Spice Plantations, where you can learn about the various spices that are grown in Goa.
