Recommendations

If you have extra time, consider taking a side trip to the Zanskar Valley, which is known for its rugged terrain and stunning beauty. You can also take a hot air balloon ride to get a bird's eye view of the landscape. To maximize your fun, consider renting a bike or taking a guided tour to explore the local area. We also recommend trying some traditional Ladakhi cuisine, such as momos and thukpa. Lastly, make sure to drink plenty of water and take breaks to avoid altitude sickness.
