Recommendations

If you have time, you can also visit the coffee plantations, hire a bike and ride through the hills, or attend a local cultural event. For a side trip, you can visit the Belur and Halebidu temples, or the historical town of Sringeri. To maximize your fun, make sure to pack comfortable shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a raincoat as it can rain unexpectedly in June. Finally, don't forget to try the local cuisine, especially the traditional biryanis and coffee.
