4-Day Adventure Itinerary for Jaipur in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Nahargarh Fort
    25 minutes (4.5 miles) from Jaipur City Center

    In the morning, explore the Nahargarh Fort, which offers breathtaking views of the city. The fort opens at 10:00 AM and has several hiking trails that you can take to enjoy the scenic beauty. After a quick lunch break, head to the nearby Jaigarh Fort. In the afternoon, visit the Jaigarh Fort which is known for the world's largest cannon on wheels. The fort also has an armory and a museum that offer insights into the Rajput history. Spend the evening at the Padao Restaurant located inside the Nahargarh Fort and enjoy a panoramic view of the sunset over the city.

  2. Day 2: Jal Mahal and Man Sagar Lake
    20 minutes (3.5 miles) from Nahargarh Fort

    Start your day early and head to Jal Mahal, a palace situated in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake. The palace opens at 6:00 AM and it's the best time to visit to beat the crowds. After taking in the stunning views, go for a boat ride on the lake. Next, visit the Amer Fort, located just 15 minutes away. The fort opens at 9:00 AM and offers an array of activities such as elephant rides, light and sound shows, and a museum visit. End your day with a visit to the Jaipur Wax Museum which is located nearby. The museum showcases wax statues of famous Indian celebrities and historical figures.

  3. Day 3: Jhalana Safari Park and Albert Hall Museum
    30 minutes (5.5 miles) from Jal Mahal

    Begin your day with a visit to the Jhalana Safari Park, which is known for its leopard sightings. The park opens at 6:30 AM and has a guided safari tour that lasts for about two hours. After the safari, head to the nearby Albert Hall Museum, which is open from 9:00 AM onwards. The museum houses a collection of artifacts and artwork, including traditional Rajasthani costumes, pottery, and sculptures. Spend the evening at the Masala Chowk, which is a food court located near the Albert Hall Museum and offers a variety of Rajasthan's famous street food.

  4. Day 4: Trek to Chour Ghati and Chandlai Lake
    40 minutes (11 miles) from Jhalana Safari Park

    On your last day, go on a trek to the Chour Ghati and Chandlai Lake. The trek starts early in the morning and takes around 3-4 hours to complete. The trek offers a chance to explore the local flora and fauna while enjoying the scenic beauty of the Aravalli range. After the trek, head to the nearby Sisodia Rani Garden, which is a beautiful multi-leveled garden that houses several fountains and waterworks. End your day with a visit to the Raj Mandir Cinema, which is a famous movie theatre known for its grand architecture and a unique movie-watching experience.
