Exploring Gurgaon and Delhi in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Kingdom of Dreams
    20 minutes (7.5km) from Indira Gandhi International Airport

    In the morning, head to the Kingdom of Dreams, a cultural and entertainment hub in Gurgaon. Experience the grandeur of India's art, cuisine, and performances all under one roof. In the afternoon, try some of the local delicacies at the food court. In the evening, enjoy the spectacular Bollywood musical, "Zangoora".

  2. Day 2: Qutub Minar
    30 minutes (16.5km) from Kingdom of Dreams

    Start your day with a visit to Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the tallest brick minaret in the world. Explore the surrounding complex that includes ancient monuments, lush gardens and a mosque. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Lotus Temple, a beautiful structure shaped like a lotus flower. In the evening, head to Hauz Khas Village for a trendy nightlife experience.

  3. Day 3: Red Fort and Jama Masjid
    40 minutes (14km) from Lotus Temple

    Visit the iconic Red Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site and a symbol of India's rich history and culture. Explore the historic complex and enjoy the light and sound show in the evening. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, and enjoy the stunning view of Delhi from the minaret. End your day with a visit to the bustling Chandni Chowk market for some local shopping and street food.

Recommendations

If you have time, consider visiting the Akshardham Temple, a stunning Hindu temple complex, or the Humayun's Tomb, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. A side trip to Agra to see the Taj Mahal is also highly recommended.
