4-Day Nature Itinerary for Kaylong in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Yosemite National Park
    2 hours 20 minutes (78 miles) from Fresno Yosemite International Airport

    In the morning, hike to the top of Yosemite Falls for incredible views of the valley. In the afternoon, explore the giant sequoias in Mariposa Grove. In the evening, enjoy a picnic at Glacier Point while watching the sunset.

  2. Day 2: Kings Canyon National Park

    Start the day hiking the Mist Falls Trail for stunning views of the Kings River. In the afternoon, take a dip in the Roaring River Falls swimming hole. In the evening, camp at the beautiful Princess Campground.

  3. Day 3: Sequoia National Park
    1 hour 15 minutes (38 miles) from Kings Canyon National Park

    Spend the morning hiking the Congress Trail and seeing some of the world's largest trees. In the afternoon, explore Crystal Cave's stunning rock formations. In the evening, stargaze at the Wolverton picnic area.

  4. Day 4: Mammoth Lakes
    1 hour 45 minutes (70 miles) from Sequoia National Park

    Start the day with a hike to Rainbow Falls, a stunning 101-foot waterfall. In the afternoon, rent a kayak and paddle through the serene waters of Lake Mary. In the evening, relax in the natural hot springs at Wild Willy's.

Recommendations

If you have extra time, consider visiting Mono Lake to see its unique tufa towers. You can also take a day trip to Lake Tahoe for some water sports or a scenic drive around the lake.
