In the morning, drive to Rudraprayag. En route, stop at Devprayag, the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers. Have lunch at Srinagar and reach Rudraprayag by evening. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Himalayas and the sound of the river Mandakini.
In the morning, drive to Gaurikund and start the trek to Kedarnath. The trek is 16 km and takes around 6-7 hours. You will pass through beautiful forests, waterfalls and steep climbs. Reach Kedarnath by evening and stay overnight.
Early morning, visit the Kedarnath temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. After the darshan, start trekking to Vasuki Tal which is a high altitude lake situated at an altitude of 4,150 meters. The trek is difficult but the view is worth it. Stay overnight at Vasuki Tal.
In the morning, trek back to Kedarnath and have lunch. After lunch, drive to Guptkashi. En route, visit Triyuginarayan temple which is the wedding place of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Reach Guptkashi by evening and stay overnight.
In the morning, drive back to Rudraprayag. En route, visit the famous temple of Lord Vishnu, Raghunathji temple at Devprayag. Have lunch at Srinagar and reach Rudraprayag by evening. Stay overnight at Rudraprayag and depart for Haridwar the next morning.
You can also explore the nearby town of Guptkashi and visit the Manikarnika Kund, a holy pond. Another suggestion could be taking a dip in the hot water springs of Gaurikund. You can also consider taking a side trip to the beautiful hill station of Auli. To maximize your fun, carry proper trekking gear, water bottles, energy bars, and a torch. It is also recommended to acclimatize before starting the trek.
