4-Day Adventure Itinerary for Andaman in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Coral Island

  2. Day 2: Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park
    30 minutes (19.6 miles) from Port Blair

    Spend the morning at Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park, known for its diverse marine life and coral reefs. Take a glass-bottom boat ride to see the underwater world up-close. In the afternoon, head to Chidiya Tapu for bird-watching and a trek to Munda Pahar Beach. In the evening, visit the Cellular Jail for the Light and Sound Show, which tells the story of India's freedom struggle.

  3. Day 3: Mount Harriet National Park
    1 hour 30 minutes (38.3 miles) from Port Blair

    In the morning, drive to Mount Harriet National Park, the highest peak in the Andaman Islands. Trek to Madhuban to see exotic flora and fauna. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Kalapathar Beach for some sunbathing and relaxation. In the evening, visit the Anthropological Museum to learn about the indigenous tribes of the Andaman Islands.

  4. Day 4: Baratang Island
    4 hours 30 minutes (73.5 miles) from Port Blair

    Embark on an early morning journey to Baratang Island. Head to the Limestone Caves to witness their unique formation created by years of sedimentation. Next, visit the Parrot Island to see thousands of parrots returning home at sunset. Finally, visit the Mud Volcano to witness its natural phenomenon. Return to Port Blair in the evening.
