2-Day Family-Friendly Itinerary for Haridwar in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Har Ki Pauri
    10 minutes (3 km) from Haridwar Junction Railway Station

    In the morning, visit Har Ki Pauri, one of the most famous ghats in Haridwar. Take a dip in the holy waters of the Ganges and witness the daily Ganga Aarti ceremony at sunset. In the afternoon, explore the nearby markets for local souvenirs and street food. End the day with a visit to Mansa Devi Temple, located atop Bilwa Parvat, which can be reached via a cable car.

  2. Day 2: Rajaji National Park
    1 hour 20 minutes (35 km) from Haridwar

    Embark on a wildlife safari at Rajaji National Park in the morning. Home to a variety of flora and fauna, the park offers a chance to spot animals like elephants, tigers, and leopards in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, visit the Chandi Devi Temple, located on the Neel Parvat, which can be reached via a cable car. End the day with a visit to the iconic Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva.
