Recommendations

Make sure to visit the Harsiddhi Temple, one of the 51 Shakthi peethas in India, located just a few minutes away from Mahakaleshwar Temple. Another attraction to consider is the Vedh Shala Observatory, an ancient observatory built by Raja Jai Singh, the king of Jaipur. You can also take a side trip to the nearby city of Indore, known for its street food and architecture. To maximize your fun, you can take a boat ride on the Shipra river and enjoy the scenic beauty. Don't forget to try the famous street food of Ujjain, like chaat, kachori, and poha. Finally, make sure to carry a spare pair of shoes as most of the temples and ghats require visitors to remove their footwear.
