In Mumbai with Friends: 2-Day Adventure Itinerary from Khopoli

  1. Day 1: Imagica Theme Park
    15 minutes (7.6 km) from Khopoli

    Start the day early and head to the Imagica Theme Park for some thrill and adventure. Have a breakfast at the park, and then explore the park's five zones, each with its unique experience. From high-speed roller coasters to water rides, the park has something for everybody. Don't forget to take a ride on the Nitro, India's largest and most expensive roller coaster, or take a plunge into the Aquamagica Water Park. Spend the afternoon at the park and have lunch at one of the park's many eateries. In the evening, catch the park's parade and end the day with a spectacular fireworks show.

  2. Day 2: Trek to Karnala Fort
    1 hour 20 minutes (45 km) from Khopoli

    Start early and head to the Karnala Bird Sanctuary to embark on an exciting trek to the Karnala Fort. The bird sanctuary is home to over 150 species of birds, and the trek to the fort offers a stunning view of the Western Ghats. Once you reach the fort, explore the ruins and learn about the fort's rich history. Have a picnic lunch at the fort, and then head back down to the bird sanctuary. Spend the afternoon bird-watching and exploring the sanctuary's nature trails. On the way back to Khopoli, stop by the historic Kalote Lake and watch the sunset over the lake.
