3-Day Nature Itinerary for Pachmari in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Pachmarhi Bee Fall
    20 minutes (4.5 km) from Pachmarhi town

    In the morning, head to the Pachmarhi Bee Fall. It's a beautiful and serene waterfall surrounded by lush green forests. The walk down to the waterfall is a bit steep, but it's worth it. You can take a dip in the cool water and relax for a while. In the afternoon, visit the Handi Khoh viewpoint, which offers a spectacular view of the surrounding hills and valleys. In the evening, head back to the town and explore the local market.

  2. Day 2: Pandav Caves and Dhoopgarh
    25 minutes (9.2 km) from Pachmarhi Bee Fall

    In the morning, visit the Pandav Caves, which are a group of five ancient caves carved out of sandstone rocks. According to legend, these caves were built by the five Pandava brothers during their exile. In the afternoon, head to Dhoopgarh, which is the highest point in the Satpura Range and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. You can watch the beautiful sunset from here. In the evening, relax in one of the local restaurants and enjoy some delicious local cuisine.

  3. Day 3: Satpura National Park
    30 minutes (12.4 km) from Dhoopgarh

    In the morning, head to the Satpura National Park, which is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. You can take a jeep safari or a boat ride on the Denwa River to explore the park. You might have a chance to see tigers, leopards, sloth bears, and many other animals. In the afternoon, visit the Rajat Pratap Waterfall, which is the highest waterfall in Madhya Pradesh. In the evening, head back to the town and enjoy a cup of tea in one of the local tea shops.

If you have more time, consider visiting the Bori Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including tigers, leopards, and wild dogs.
