Coimbu Honeymoon Itinerary - June 2023

  1. Day 1: Pamban Bridge
    35 minutes (22.9 km) from Coimbatore International Airport

    Morning: Take a stroll on Pamban Bridge, a 2.3 km long bridge that connects Rameswaram to mainland India. Enjoy the sea breeze and panoramic views of the Bay of Bengal.
    Afternoon: Visit Ramanathaswamy Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple has 22 sacred wells and the longest temple corridor in India.
    Evening: Relax at Dhanushkodi Beach, one of the cleanest beaches in India. Enjoy the serene sunset view at this secluded beach.

  2. Day 2: Ooty
    7 hours (267 km) from Ramanathaswamy Temple

    Morning: Take a scenic toy train ride from Mettupalayam to Ooty. The train passes through lush green forests, tea gardens and curves around steep hills.
    Afternoon: Visit Government Botanical Garden, a 55-acre garden home to more than 1000 species of plants, including rare and endangered species.
    Evening: Relax at Ooty Lake, a man-made lake surrounded by eucalyptus trees. Enjoy boating and horse riding at this picturesque location.
