5-Day Adventure Itinerary in Goa for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Baga Beach
    30 minutes (18 km) from Goa International Airport

    Start your adventure in Goa by heading to Baga Beach, known for its water sports activities like parasailing, jet skiing, and banana boat rides. Spend your morning here enjoying the adrenaline rush from these thrilling activities. For lunch, try some local Goan seafood delicacies at one of the shacks lining the beach. In the afternoon, take a stroll down to the nearby Saturday Night Market, where you can shop for souvenirs, clothes, and other knick-knacks. Finish off the day with a sunset cruise on Mandovi River and savour scenic views of the coastline.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    1 hour 30 minutes (70 km) from Baga Beach

    Wake up early and drive to the majestic Dudhsagar Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in India. Enjoy a morning trek to the falls, and once you reach there, take a refreshing dip in the natural pool beneath the falls. For lunch, pack a picnic and spend the afternoon by the falls. On your way back, make a stop at the Spice Plantation and take a tour to learn about the various spices grown in Goa and their medicinal properties. You can also enjoy an elephant ride here.

  3. Day 3: Grande Island
    1 hour (20 km) from Baga Beach

    Get ready for some scuba diving and snorkelling at Grande Island. Take a boat ride to the island and explore the underwater world of Goa. You can spot a variety of colourful fishes, corals, and other marine life. For lunch, enjoy a seafood barbecue on the island. In the evening, head back to the mainland and visit the Aguada Fort, a 17th-century Portuguese fort, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea.

  4. Day 4: Mollem National Park
    1 hour 30 minutes (60 km) from Baga Beach

    Explore the Mollem National Park, home to a variety of flora and fauna. Take a jeep safari and spot animals like deer, bison, and leopards. Visit the Tambdi Surla Temple, one of the oldest temples in Goa, and marvel at its intricate carvings and architecture. For lunch, try some traditional Goan cuisine at a nearby restaurant. In the afternoon, hike to the waterfall at Tambdi Surla and take a refreshing dip in the pool beneath it.

  5. Day 5: Calangute Beach
    20 minutes (9 km) from Baga Beach

    Spend your last day in Goa relaxing at Calangute Beach, the largest and most popular beach in Goa. Try some water sports like surfing, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding. For lunch, enjoy some street food at the beachside shacks. In the evening, head over to the Tito's Lane and enjoy some nightlife at the bars and clubs.

If you have more time, you can consider a day trip to the beautiful Palolem Beach or take a hot air balloon ride over the Goan countryside.
