2-Day Adventure Itinerary for Delhi in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Hauz Khas Village
    20 minutes (8km) from Indira Gandhi International Airport

    AFTERNOON - Head to Indian Mountaineering Foundation in Moti Bagh and enroll in a basic mountaineering course. Learn essential skills like rock climbing, rappelling, and knot tying. The course is open to beginners and experienced climbers alike, and all necessary equipment is provided.

    EVENING - Experience the nightlife of Hauz Khas Village. Visit the Social, a popular bar with a rooftop terrace. Enjoy live music, delicious food, and refreshing drinks while overlooking the city skyline.

  2. Day 2: Neemrana Fort Palace
    2 hours (120km) from Hauz Khas Village

    MORNING - Drive to Neemrana Fort Palace, a stunning palace converted into a heritage hotel. Explore the palace and the surrounding village, and learn about the history and culture of the region.

    AFTERNOON - Zipline across the Neemrana Fort Palace, and feel the adrenaline rush as you soar above the treetops. The zipline is 1250 meters long, and provides breathtaking views of the palace and the surrounding Aravalli hills.

    EVENING - Watch the sunset from the palace terrace, and enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Try the local Rajasthani cuisine, and end your adventure on a high note.

Recommendations

If you have an extra day, visit the Jim Corbett National Park, a wildlife sanctuary famous for its tigers, elephants, and deer. You can also go on a hot air balloon ride over the city and get a bird's eye view of the monuments and landmarks. To maximize your fun, hire a bike and explore the city at your own pace. Make sure to try the street food, and don't be afraid to bargain at the local markets. Finally, carry a water bottle at all times and wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
