Two-Day Itinerary for Delhi in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Red Fort

    Afternoon: Head to Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi. Here, you can find a variety of street food and traditional garments.

    Evening: Witness the Light and Sound show at the Red Fort, which showcases the history of India through a beautiful display of lights and sounds.

  2. Day 2: Qutub Minar
    30 minutes (16 km) from hotel

    Start your day by visiting Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is a great place to learn about the history of Delhi and take some amazing pictures.

    Afternoon: Visit the Lotus Temple, a Bahá'í House of Worship. This temple is known for its beautiful architecture and serene environment.

    Evening: End your day by visiting India Gate, a war memorial dedicated to the Indian soldiers who died during World War I. You can enjoy a picnic or a stroll in the surrounding gardens.

If you have some extra time, you can also visit the Humayun's Tomb, which is a beautiful example of Mughal architecture. Another great side trip is a visit to Akshardham, a Hindu temple known for its stunning architecture and boat ride.
