Aside from the itinerary above, consider visiting the nearby town of Chamoli, which offers stunning views of the Nanda Devi mountain range. You can also take a side trip to Mana Village, the last village on the Indian border, or go on a trek to Kuari Pass. To maximize your fun, hire a local guide to help you navigate the area and learn more about the local culture, cuisine, and traditions. Lastly, don't forget to carry warm clothing as the temperatures can dip during the night, even in August.
