5-Day Adventure Itinerary in Armenia

  1. Day 1: Dilijan National Park
    1-hour drive (60 km) from Yerevan

    Start your adventure by visiting Dilijan National Park, also known as the "Little Switzerland" of Armenia. In the morning, hike through the lush forests and picturesque landscapes, and take a dip in the refreshing Parz Lake. In the afternoon, ride a mountain bike on the trails or go horseback riding.   2. Day 2: Tatev Monastery

    2-hour drive (115 km) from Lake Sevan

    Return to Dilijan National Park and visit the Dilijan Adventure Park, which offers a variety of thrilling outdoor activities. In the morning, try the zipline and rope courses, and challenge yourself with the climbing wall and bungee trampoline. In the afternoon, go on a jeep tour or ATV ride, and explore the hidden corners of the park. In the evening, unwind in one of the cozy cabins or camping sites in the park area.

  5. Day 5: Mount Aragats
    2-hour drive (85 km) from Dilijan Adventure Park

    End your adventure by climbing Mount Aragats, the highest peak in Armenia and one of the most challenging hikes in the country. In the morning, start the ascent from the southern side of the mountain and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding valleys and peaks. In the afternoon, reach the summit and celebrate your achievement with a picnic lunch and a toast of Armenian brandy. In the evening, return to Yerevan and rest in one of the comfortable hotels or apartments in the city center.

Recommendations

If you have more time, consider visiting the ancient Garni Temple, the medieval Haghpat Monastery, or the picturesque Jermuk Waterfall.
